Global Compassion Fellowship was founded based on our shared desire to create a spiritual gathering place where people of all faiths (and no faiths) feel welcomed into a community of compassion.

Robert Cusick

As a long time meditator and former monk, Robert ordained in Burma under the renowned meditation master, Ven. Pa Auk Sayadaw, and studied with him from 2003 - 2012. Robert sits on the Board of Directors of the Sati Center for Buddhist Studies. He's the Co-founder and Co-director of the Applied Compassion Training at CCARE Stanford.

James Doty, M.D.

Dr. Doty is the founder and director of the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education at Stanford University, CCARE.He works with a variety of scientists from a number of disciplines examining the neural bases for compassion and altruism. He is the senior editor of the Oxford Handbook of Compassion Science. and the author of the New York Times bestseller, Into the Magic Shop.

Neelama Eyres

Neelama is an Author, Speaker, Facilitator and the Creator of The Virtual Sanctuary. Since 2000, she's designed and facilitatedcontemplative retreats, transformational workshops, leadership trainings and compassion programs. She's the Co-founder and Co-director of the Applied Compassion Training at CCARE Stanford and the Co-author of the book Divorced with Love.

Monica Hanson

Monica is a Facilitator, Mentor, Teacher, and Speaker. Her background is in leading and developing compassion trainings, mind-body retreats, and contemplative programs often offered in secular settings. Most recently, she's the Co-Founder of the Applied Compassion Training at CCARE Stanford
